Looks like theyre loving it...nice job! When I used to have my RES they would live my pool during the summer. Its 55'x25'. Needless to say I think they liked it LOL! Here's a pic of where mine used to live:

wouldnt all the chemicals kill them? I fish out about 5 dead frogs every morning out of mine.

Same, I get frogs and mice dead as well. But the chemicals dont seem to bother reptiles. My male beardie occassionaly takes a dip too. I also find garter snakes sometimes as well and they are fine. Its mostly harmful to amphibians because they absorb everything and anything directly through their skin and into their system.

Yeah i get mice in my pool, but the worst we ever got was a dead opossum! lol.........yuk. Well the chemicals can't be good for the reptiles.....it's not even good for us, but i guess it wouldn't kill them unless they drink a lot of it or something.........i dunno

the reason for that is frogs have semi permiable skin and are very susiptive to chemicals. when lakes and rivers are in question of being polluted people always find dead froggs first

    LOL love the defense...

FWIW, I always dechlorinate my turtles water as well....just in case. Love the pics of the babies.

My two baby RES, "Chip and Dale."

Also have two bigger turts but we'll save the thread for the babies. hehehe
