    Default The Odd Couple

I had no plans for my new male Hank until next spring at the earliest, but I decided I would like to do a late-season pairing in hopes of some summer eggs and fall babies, since my females seem to be finished laying for the spring season and most of their eggs have hatched.

I don't have a "properly matched" female for him color-wise, or at least not one who is mature yet. So I decided to pair him and Livewire(Orange stripe in the front) together for some hopefully interesting/beautiful surprises.

Hank is quickly becoming one of my favorite geckos, he not only looks stunning, but he has a very nice disposition, and from what I can tell so far, is very good with the ladies

I think that pairing should make some really interesting garglets! Lots if possibilities there. Look forward to seeing what they produce for you.

I've had a similar matched pair in my lineup before: Armand and Merlin were paired together during the 2010 breeding season.

The produced some absolute gorgeous offspring for me:

Wow, I wouldn't mind some babies like that being the outcome!

Here's why I'm fairly certain they've mated. I discovered Hank like this when I was cleaning/feeding the other day.

I've not seen anything like this before: warning, it's a LITTLE gross.

Looks like sperm plugs to me!

Also, great example of funky scales on a regen tail right there!

Misty, can't wait to see the babies they produce. I'm sure you'll get some nice color.

Sarah, those are some wild babies! I love the unpredictable genetics of these guys.
