20 gallon extra high
anyone use these tanks and like them? 6 years in the fish hobby and ive never seen dimensions like this until this weekend. maybe they are new but i think they're perfect for cresties so i got oneits got same footfrint as a 10g but height of almost 24in. could three females be kept in something like this with the extra height?

I've been planning on getting two of those to replace my ten gallons when my 2 babies get bigger... I will have to special order them from a local store.... but yeah, they are wonderful for small spaces, and what not. I can't wait to get mine!

weird, i guess i just took them for granted. I got my first 20tall almost 10 years ago and kept a single oscar in it in my military dorm.
i now have 3 in my living room set up as different community tanks.

I've never seen a 20 extra high in person. I have seen them online and I also thought they'd be perfect for cresties. I'd only keep 2 in there, 3 would be to tight of a fit in my opinion.
its a great tank. i love it. so far only problem is dont get it unless your tall with long arms or wanna stand on a stool to reach the bottomit would make a nice show tank imo. i really want to make mine look nice but as you can tell by my other tanks im no good at interior designing. if they wernt so expensive id swap the other two tanks as well and have all extra highs
comparasin shot next to my 2 standard 20 gallons...
thats sweet. they seem greet for arboreal species but cant see them as actually being practicle for fish keeping like they are intended.

I used to have this and I kept a breeding pair of angel fish in there about 12 years ago. 2 10 gallons stacked on top of each other. They would be great for a adult crestie.
