    I'm starting to think they are springtails now because some got a little larger and their bodies are starting to get longer

    So it's been over a week now. I found the source of the gnat this time - two bags of soil I had inside. I tossed them out a couple days ago, and haven't seen much of anything for a day or two since. I keep checking the plants and I haven't seen ANY new gnats- so it looks like the stuff may be working *crosses fingers*
