    Default white ball python

ok so i saw an ad locally that has a white ball python available. i had been thinking about getting a snake and this thing looks so nice in the pics. ive never seen one like it though-why would it be so inexpensive($200) if it was a cool morph? its not pure white but it looks like normal pattern but the parts that would be brown are white. sorry if i dont know what the hell im talking about but any help would be appreciated. is this a certain morph or someone trying to rip people off?

Nah, that's not a white BP Google BEL Ball Python and that's a white snake. As well as Ivories, the super form of the yellow belly.

That snake is probly just a light normal. I've noticed the dorsal on normals is always brighter than the sides, so if the lighting is just right, it can make it look lighter than normal. It's still a very pretty snake, I would have to double take it if I was considering purchasing.

Edit: After looking at the picture more... I'd request a picture of his snake on a local newspaper. That doesn't look quite normal, the pattern is pretty reduced and almost looks like a vanilla type morph.

Heck if you can talk him down to $50 give or take $20, I would pick him up!

i'd probably pay $75-100 for him, if he does indeed look like that in person. very pretty snake, even if its some form of a normal.

That's not a normal, I'd say vanilla, possibly a fire. 200 bucks is a good deal.

That's what I thought too. If you wanted to invest into a fire or vanilla it is a good deal, they're a pretty penny. But, for something off a classifieds website, I'd want proof of the genetics first. Especially when they're claiming it's white, heh. Unless, he's claiming it's a het white. Weird way of wording it, but that would make sense.
