Default 1 Year old BP question

I know this question will have a big variation of answers, but i got a baby ball python that was malnourished, from the (breeder) previous owner and now hes almost a year old and weighs 450 grams, or almost a pound.

Is this a good weight for Zeus?

It's not terrible, but it could be better. He could just be a slow grower! Good thing he's in your hands now

My BPs are normally 700g+ after a year, but then I only have 3. That's being fed every 5 days til 500g, then once a week after that.

That's by no means a bad weight for a yearling. A picture would be nice, though. If he was previously malnourished, he will probably be a little bit slower in growing, but as long as you've got him eating on a good schedule, he should be absolutely fine.
