I went to petsmart and they have the bamboo on clearing for 8 bucks.

Or the other thing I did was go to homedepot and but bamboo lengths and pick up the magnets they sell for like 2.59 they are little round circles. I drilled them out and hot glued them into the bamboo

Another magnet, just be sure that they are strong enough to hold both the bamboo and what ever gecko goes flying and lands on it.

I got the bamboo from the garden department by the tomato stakes, and then I baked the bamboo. It didn't end up looking as good as I thought it would so I would suggest using the bamboo as an anchor for plants. This way you can add plants to the middle and add a "full" look to your tank. Also I was just thinking about the magnets I bought they are kinda weak but work for my baby gargs so you might wanna buy some stronger magnets then the ones I mentioned! Hope this helps

Neodymium Magnets are what I use in my Saltwater tank for the frag racks works great. They can be hard to find and expensive though.

I found some little suction cups at the dollar store so I just drilled a hole through the ends of the bamboo and through the stem of the suction cups then attached them with zip ties(plastic ones). Works good and you can't even tell they're there.

This is the best pic I have of my setup.

As far as treating the bamboo I baked mine at 250 for 2 hrs or so, some of stalks did end up cracking though.

    Yep, thats what I did.

Then cut the bamboo to 18" and just jam it in there tightly...
