Thank you. I hope Cecilia does recover. If she's still doing poorly in a few weeks, I will probably put her down.

I am very skeptical of this product called Reptaid, but if it does treat parasites and infections it may be worth it? I've been reading a ton of reviews and it seems a lot of people think it's great. I think it probably has more to do with healing over time and good husbandry, but since the vets are stumped I wonder if it would be good for Cecilia?

Spyral- Thanks for the info. I will definitely look into it in a couple of weeks when I have the money.

My little Cecilia just shed tonight for the first time in weeks! She has needed to so badly. I ended up pulling the shed off for her which I know isn't preferred and I could have left her until morning but she's been at the same point for hours and it was around the eyes so I was a little worried she was having trouble. Some interesting info on the shed though is that some of her newer skin came off stuck to it. It seems she has small holes where bumps used to be...hmmm. I am not sure what to make of it. She still have three larger bumps (still smaller than they were at least) on the edges of her belly. I will try to capture an image sometime soon. The ones under her neck have definitely improved and some of them are now the holes.

She is still not eating on her own. I thought she did the other night but she just stepped in it. I am feeding her regularly although it's tough because it takes about 20 minutes to get enough in her and my new little one Oliver isn't eating on his own either. He's new to the house, has never been with the others in a cage and has been around for almost a month. I know he had a couple of crickets but that's it. I don't know what to think about him yet. Either way, I hand feed him every few days just in case. He is more resistant than Cecilia!

I miss Amelio like crazy and visit his grave often but I know how happy he must be now. Hopefully he is looking down on Cecilia giving her support through her illness.

A Thank You-for sending Amelio to you-

Heavenly Father, Creator of all things, thank you for having entrusted us with a loyal pet.

Thank you for letting him teach us unselfish love.

Thank you for the memories that we can recall to brighten our days for the rest of our lives.

Finally, in gratitude, we return our pet to you.

    For you-from Amelio-

A Message From The Rainbow Bridge

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from the Bridge, here I dwell with God above.
Here there's no more tears of sadness, here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you.

It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, They'll be here later on."
God gave me a list of things that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in bed at night the day's chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you ... in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years,
Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over,
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb,
But together, we can do it by taking one day at a time.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too,
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
    If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night ... "My day was not in vain."

And now I am contented ... that my life was worthwhile,
Knowing as I passed along I made somebody smile.
God says: "If you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
Just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.

When you're walking down the street with me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go...from that body to be free,
Remember you're not're coming here to me."

    RIP, sweet Amelio...
Wait for Jenna at The Bridge, and watch over Cecilia!!

RIP Amelio, you will be missed and thought of often.

It seems as though Amelio is watching over Cecilia. Very soon after his struggle ended, she seems to be improving. I'm very happy to hear this. Losing one is enough.
