    Default Changing Water in Viv

I am planning on a false bottom in a exco viv tank for one crested gecko. My plan is to use Leca Balls; garden screen, & eco earth with live plants. Any tips to allow me to change the water in lower level or is this necessary.

Either drill the back and put a bulkhead in (the easiest option in the long run) or put a piece of PVC tubing in vertically so you can put a siphon in occasionally and pull the water out.

i just siphon it! put some rocks in 1 corner so that it is level with the sibstrate (and it looks kinds cool IMO) then you can push a siphon through it. i use the standard airlne tubing (got 8 or 12 feet at walmart for like3$ so it works)
