    Default Crestie Aquarium

My local pet store is selling a large hex tank and stand, would this work for a CG setup. A little awkward to clean but it would have lots of height and much cheaper then a comparable size exo viv? It would be a nice way to view him with lots of side space and the grandkids cant' reach inside. Not sure if it would get too cold at night but with the CG liking it high up that should not be an issue with a small heat source.

Many people use hex enclosures and I think they are fine. Just be careful about the size of crested that you put in there though. If it is too small it won't be able to find its food in such a large cage.

it's a 35 Gallon, I would put the food dish high up so I and the gecko can arch it? My plan is to buy an adult.

I got one of those 35 gallon hex aquariums with a wooden stand for $8 at a yard sale this summer, planning to do the same thing. But in order to use it, I'd have to make some sort of hinged screen top for it, and enlarge the air space on top. If anyone knows how to do this, please share your ideas!
