    Arrow Green Bean update.. help?

I took green bean to the vet on Tuesday, and he gave him a dose of Flagyl, right into his mouth. He told me that he will be fine, and if I'm worrying or making things too complicated, that I should just calm down.

I just got back from family stuff in VT, and immediately checked on green bean.. he was alone from wed morning, when I left out lots of fresh food and water and misted the tank ALOT, and had given him a sauna the night before..

He didn't have any normal poops yet in his tank.. and was up on the glass, the humidity was very low, so I took him out, (he look dehydrated) and put him in a sauna with some warm water and pedialyte.
he weighed 18 grams on tuesday, and now weighs 17.7
his crests were down, but after a sauna they are back and normal..
is this dehydration? would the meds do a number on his system? He was responsive, but his eyes worry me.. I mean, on Tuesday the vet took a good look at him, said he looked healthy and fine.. but his eyes look strange, like the skin on the outside of them looks off.. am I over reacting?

I just want green bean to be healthy, and normal..

Awww, jeeze, yeah, Green Bean's eyes don't look normal to me either. I can't say what is wrong, though, the skin around the eyes looks sunken but swollen at the same time.
Is Green Bean a petstore purchase by chance?

I agree, the eyes do look off.. Personally, I'd get some pedialyte in the gecko topically(in the mouth directly) rather than just relying on a sauna, and possibly hunt down entamoeba-fix online(which is becoming more scarce since it's no longer being produced).

I Have E fix, but the vet gave him straight up Flagyl, which is the drug in E fix, it was much stronger. he said it will take care of the parasites..

He's plenty active, and is currently rather un happy to have been woken up for a sauna this morning... do you think its dehydration?
the vet is out of town until dec 4th! argh! it looks like he is tired, and has circles under his eyes, and one seems bigger than the other.. but that might just be because of the odd circles under the eyes effect.. i mean, he just had a monster dose of flagyl, that stuff is used for anaerobic bacteria in humans, and i'm sure it would take care of any bad in him..

    so stressful!

does this mean it might be something specific? I m ean, he's active.. but his eyes are such a problem..

I am quite attached to him.. I really thought the vet trip on tuesday was going to take care of everything, so I could finally have a normal, healthy gecko..

I dont know what to do.. he doesnt seem stressed, it just bothers me, that he's not healthy!
any advice? I'm at work, and can't access my cell (work in a lab) I hope the vet will get back to me.. but it isn't likely because he is on vacation

Try calling the vet that I sent you the link to. I don't know if she's seen cresteds yet though. Ask her, I know she's great with amphibians, but I have never had to bring mine to her before.

I mean when you get your cell.
