I'm in the Riverhead area I always goto the melville expo every time they host it. I'll definitely be there. I also plan to go to the White Plains expo in January since I am just starting with the cresteds and will probably need some supplies.

Heck everything about them i find is simpler then the leopards, i also like that they can utilize a tall cage thanks to their sticky pads. If things turn around with the roaches though i'll keep them but in the end i think the money will be better suited to helping me establish a good collection of cresties and a proper environment. All the money i make is going straight to them.

Thanks for the Kudos too i have a good friend who is raising them and he has been showing me the ropes. But i find forums can get you down to the nitty gritty of it all.

    1. Keep roaches
    2. Breed roaches
    3. Feed leopards and cresteds roaches
    4. Sell surplus roaches in portions
    5. Make $.
    6. Use $ to buy more cresteds
    7. Continue breeding roaches
    8. ???????????
    9. Profit

I'm borrowing a friends right now to get the hang of it, here is a quick snapshot of my cage setup. This is only half of the cage as I put a divider in it so I have room to separate males and females during their cooling periods.

I'm hoping to pickup a solid red male at the white plains show we will see what happens.
