    Question scaleless snakes??

    I was looking through a reptile classifieds and found a few scaless ratsnakes. I've never heard of this before!!! has anyone else? does anyone on here have one/any pictures??

    There was something about a scale-less ball python a few years ago.. I think it was jokingly called a "derma ball" but most of what i recall many people were pretty upset about it.

    just google up "derma ball python" for that mess, or you can look up "scaleless ball python"> images and there are some photos of various types of snakes sans scales.

    Yup scaleless rats and corns are being produced.. Also a friend hatched out a scaleless Eastern hoggie.

    whats the story behind them? are they hard to care for? what causes them to be the way they are? anyone have any good info sites they know about? sorry about all the questions im just very intrigued by this. I've hadn't heard of a scaless reptile until today.

    I've never even heard of such thing! I just googled them and they are very neat looking. I wonder what they feel like.

    I'm not sure what is more bizarre looking - the eyes or the skin.

    I have to say that that rat is the most pathetic looking scaleless snake I've ever seen. I've seen a few before that were pretty neat looking, looked fairly normal, just really smooth. I've been told they feel velvety, probably kinda somewhat how a crestie feels.
    Too many snakes! 20 species and counting. 1.2.plus Crested geckos 2.2 Gargoyle geckos 0.2 Chihuahua 2.2 evil cats.
