    Default The Chewshank Redemption

So I'm in my man cave last night burning Brandie some epic tunes when I see a giant spider scurry across my wall near the ceiling. Since I realized that if that was a spider of that size I'd have to move out, I decided to turn on the light and fight it.

Well it wasn't a spider. It was my hatching chewie pretending he was Andy Dufrane and I was playing the role of the warden. Because this he escaped from me.

Can you believe that! I left the lid off his cage 30min before while feeding and now he was seriously pretty far from his enclosure. There were TONS of places for him to hide and vents for him to explore.

His name is now changed from Diamond Back: A Love Story to Andy Dufrane.

I'd just be happy it wasn't a spider. Seriously, at that size, ick!
My snake made a break Friday and I was walking out of the bathroom to see her pink tail scoot around the outside of the tank. She's been lost in the house for a week before, I found her trying to climb back in her tank. I've had to re-do the top to her tank again but now she's got scales on her that are all bent and jacked up, little brat.

Just make sure your enclosures don't start resembling Chateau d'If....
