    Default "Scale" Loss

About 3 weeks ago, I housed two males while I cleaned one of their enclosures (kicking myself). I noticed that they had a scuffle. They both had signs of bite marks on their heads (one more than the other). There was no blood. You could just tell it was a bite mark.

I noticed when I misted their enclosures, water seemed to be absorbed into their skin as it did not "bead-up" or roll off. I figured that their skin was compromised by the previous bites.

Today I noticed that one is back to normal. The other one has smooth patches on his head (where the skin seemed to absorb water) -- I mean smooth. There is no presence of scales/bumbs. These patches break the consistency of its head color as well. I assume lack of scales means lack of pigment...

Will these patches be "filled in" with new scales and color, after his next shed or two?

Help me Crested Gecko Forum... You're my only hope.
    Be thankful.

I think the issue is likely to resolve by itself in the course of one or two sheds.
