    Yup, shes very mellow. I myself dont handle any of my inverts but my girlfriend couldnt help herself.

    The versicolor is a bit more skittish, and easily spooked than the Avic avic. Thus, the versi doesn't make that great of a hand-pet. Neither are tremendously expensive. Both are quite suitable for a first spider, so long as you do your homework, and get them as juvies or adults.

    mm i wouldn't recommend arboreals for a beginner


    i WOULD highly recommend a b smithi though...theyre really neat and docile. ive had mine a lil over 4 years and shes awesome. right after a molt, the orange is like NEON...very awesome to look at
    also look into a b klaasi, those look awesome too, i might get one some day
