    Default Reptile room/cage set-ups

    Alright, I am curious.

I have begun the set-up of my reptile room. While right now, I only have the industrial shelf with 4 shelves set-up to hold my tanks (since I live in a 2 bedroom apartment), I wanted to know how everyone has their rooms and cages set-up. I know there are a lot of breeders on here and I would like (if you wouldnt mind) to know what peoples rooms and cages look like.

I have Zilla Acrylic set-ups and 10 gallons for my cresties, but I am curious to know what other types of set-ups people use for their reptiles. If people wouldnt mind, could you put some pictures up of your reptile rooms and tanks.

Tomorrow is the Taylor show and I am going to be buying some Marty Made tanks (so excited), so my room is going to have some major additions (also very excited about this.)

    Thanks everyone!

    I don't think anything rivals Derek's setups...

But here is our reptile room.

Here is my rep room. It is cleaning day today, so I will be spending the next few hours washing, rinsing, paper toweling, and taking pics.

Allhallows - WOW ORANGE! I like it.
Krystal - nice, clean and well organized.
Derek - ... I don't know how you do it.
Sgvreptilesss - I love your tanks and the GTP tank looks like a level of Donkey Kong!

I'll be taking new pictures of my set up here soon. Its been changed a lot from the pictures below...

Gee, my reptile room feels small compared to everyone elses, but then again they are in our bedroom at the moment. I am currently in the process of designing our reptile room which will be 13.5'x20'. Just need to kick the cats out of it, shampoo the carpet, paint the walls and then move everybody over. Should have it up and going by breeding season next year.

    Our current set-ups:

Everyones rooms look amazing and they are obviously nothing compared to mine (as of now, since I am just starting out.) While I would like mine to look as great as everyone elses, living in an apartment makes that difficult, but the plan is for a house next June and then a room for just the reptiles...

Now I have a question for everyone... everyone has different glass/acrylic tanks.. where does everyone get them? Do you make them yourselves or do you buy them from specific places. The rubbermaid containers are good ideas and I really like the critter keepers (AllHallows what do you keep in yours?) but I really like the glass tanks. I have one from Marty and another that is a Zilla Acrylic. Other than that I have a 5.5 gallon and a critter keeper for my baby cresteds.

DDReptiles--you list a ton of names under your pictures. what do they mean? Meaning... are they different breeds of cresteds? or other types of reptiles.

In fact, what does everyone have for reptiles? I have 5 Cresteds and a Bearded Dragon, but I want to branch out. I loooooooove the Cresteds but would like some other reptiles.

The Acrylic Zilla from Matt is going to be the cheapest way to go for a full size tank with out going into getting used or plastic tubs. They are great tanks. I have them in my photos on my black/grey shelf.
