    Talking Aragog molted!!!

    He/shes getting huge!! Time to set up a bigger tank! Thats a way bigger size jump from the last molt!

    I read that title as AGOG MELTED and it scared the crap out of me!

    He looks big and fluffy.

    lol! He/shes a Brazilian Salmon Pink Birdeater, Lasiodora parahybana. Not done growing either!

    I feed crickets, roaches, and fuzzys. There are aquarium stones in the water bowl, he/she likes to kick dirt in it, and thats also where he/she left the molt which is in the first picture.

    Cool. Are they to make it so the bowl isnt too deep. Live or f/t puzzles? What size tank is he in? Is love to see the full tank.

    This is the main reason for the rocks:


    Aragog was much smaller when I first got him/her and was told this water bowl was too big. I changed to a smaller, more shallow bowl, but still added the rocks in case he/she or the prey bugs got into it. This is the way the tank has remained, other than Aragog throwing the dirt around to half cover the skull and changing the water bowl. Thats why I said I'm changing the tank this weekend.
