    Heres the one I bought http://www.reptilebasics.com/large-hide-box.html

    I've also used it for lizards with good results. It's under the slate rock. http://iherp.com/Public/Animals/Anim...&PhotoID=72559

    Thanks guys. I'm waiting on my cage clips before I can update and upgrade the tank.

    So far I am:
    * changing from aspen to coconut coir.
    * new larger ceramic bowl.
    * keeping the log hide (I realize many dont like them for ball python but mine love his)
    * adding more wood
    * using an extra large piece of wood in a corner and making it a shaded corner
    * added a vine and maybe a little greenery

    Here you go. Lol.

    But in all seriousness.. This is what my old Ball Python tank setup looked like before I realized tubs were the way to go for me.

    Finished for now. Anyone know where to get the regular black cage clips. I thought that's what I ordered, but got the silver curly thing instead. The silver ones are super tight and I'm worried I will hurt myself trying to get them off. My small black clips don't fit the larger tank. I need the large black clips.

    Yep I use tubs too. That way I can have more balls.

    Do those tubs provide enough room for them? Not judging, just asking. It looks cramped as can be.

    IMO the ones pictured looked cramped but ball pythons prefer it this way. I found that my aniamls kept in smaller tubs like the 30 qts ate better than the ones in the larger boxes.

    They are almost due for the 15 quarts. They also have hides that I've taken out for the pictures. After going from tanks to large tubs and then these size tubs, I find my animals thrive a lot better in the smaller tubs. I keep hatchlings - 350 grams in the pictured 6 quarts, then they go to 15 quarts until they reach 1000 grams. After that they go into the CB-70s for the rest of their life.

    I tried taking out the hides so that they'd have more room to move.. But the very next day all three of them were curled up under the paper towel... They just like it really cramped! LOL.

    Trust me; I only do what I believe is best for my animals and nothing less..
