    Default Gravid female diet question

A female I got recently is gravid to the male I purchased with her that didn't make the trip alive. The seller fed her only baby food and crickets. She LOVES CGD though, gobbles it up.

I don't tend to feed crickets, but I do have a bag of the rephasy cricket dusting vitamin stuff.

I'm worried about her health since she was on baby food. I can't get her to open her mouth to check her calcium sacks...any advice on how to do this without stressing her?

She seems in great health, shed the other day with no problems, is a healthy weight and eats well, so I don't have anything to worry about at face value, but I'm concerned nonetheless. He didn't know when she last lay eggs. Said it "wasn't that long ago".

Any input? Should I somehow supplement her calcium, or is the CGD now that she is on it and eating it well enough?

Heres a great video by Jaybee to help you with the calcium sacs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVqPF4V_GuI

You could put a dish of calcium in next to her food. She will lick it from time to time.

If she doesn't have any kinks in her tail or any other signs of calcium deficiency, I wouldn't worry about it for now. Keep an eye on her tail when she does lay eggs.

Make sure you have a small dish of calcium powder with D3. You can also put a UVB light on her a few hours a week or take her outside in the sun.

She's a frogbutt so can't go by her tail, but I will put a dish of calcium in there for her. She eats everything so I'm sure she will check it out lol

I can't tell what the video says (i'm deaf) but I think I get the gist from just watching. Is there anything important that is said but not shown I need to know?

Nope, the video itself explains it all. How many grams is your female?
