Does anyone know of any Pothos like plants that can do well without artificial light (there will be room lights + window)? I know of Pothos and philodendrens but was wondering if there was any others.

id liek to knwo this as wlel. since i am lookin for a 100% or clsoe to natural set up
I use bamboo cuttings, I bunch several together and place them into small pots with some peat or vermeculite mixed with soil so they retain a high level of moisture . I then cover the top with small round stones so none of my cresties ingest something they shouldn't ,and when i water them everything around doesn't get soaked. I do the same with pothos cuttings and place them around the tank. I have actually tried quite a few plants and my little fatsos are quite destructivewith most of them. Lastly, their absolute favorite napping spot is in a birdsnest fern, and honestly they tear it up also climbing all in it and digging around the base of it ,oh well I just keep buying more ,theyre pretty inexpensive  yours truly Crestedjunkie
thanks for the advice! im currently in the making of my natrualistic enclosure.. i hope to have it complete sometime soon
:P yeah, good luck gcxbrian ,let me know how it goes.
sorry to revive an old post but I use bromeliads, orchids, and ferns as the mainplants in my natuaralistic vivariums
What substrate would be best for use in a naturalistic set-up? (sorry, this should be which is the preferred type as I know substrate debates are forever ongoing)
i think people use potting soils, eco earth, repti barks and other such things.. i would reccomend potting soils mainly because eco earth makes unfoudn eggs go bad and mold, but i heard pottiing soils also can break down wastes and feces
i mostly use potting compost, and or spagnum moss but hen, i usually leave the plants in thier pot. its easier to did up a pot than an entire root system![]()
Thanks for the replies - potting soil it'll be when he/she gets a little bigger
