    Default My first egg

Candace laid her first egg last night. So far I have only found one, She has been digging around the same spot for days and today after work I found one egg.

Do you think she will have another and if so will it be in the same place? Also how far apart can they lay eggs?

Normally they lay both at the same time right next to each other. Sometimes they can move though but that does not happen often. Is this her first year breeding? Sometimes they will lay only one egg a month every now and then but especially in their first year breeding.

I'm glad this came up, because Ursula laid only one egg a few days ago and I believe it may be her first time laying, also.

Even seasoned breeder females can drop a single egg, but it seems to be more common with new breeders.

One of my females laid one egg at the end of August, and one almost two weeks later.
