Default Why my heart belongs to chahouas!

Come on fellow chewie lovers, I am going to start a list of all the reasons I think Chahouas are the best! Add on if you want...

    1) their unbridled enthusiasm for the hunt
    2) wonderful crazy eyes
    3) slow motion foot walking (stalking)
    4) mossy, lichen colors and their uncanny ability to blend in.
    5) calm manner (mostly)
    6) some of mine seem to know my voice and "seem" to enjoy spending time on me.

    Your turn.....

I love my chewie Mr. Bubbles because he...

    is covered in soft wrinkles
his neck is saggy and frilly
he hugs onto my arm when I hold him or a branch when he is in his house

That is all I have to add for now

Okay... looking back, some might argue that these are not positive qualities, but I will add that they definitely are!! lol!!

I love my chewie because she tells me her secrets and forgives me when I forget her b-day.

The "grip" is what got to me. I had held a chahoua once before, and then I met my friend's Krystal and Kyles female Laila, and MAN was it amazing! She held onto me like nobody's business! After that, I was smitten, and I knew I had to have one!

I did research for about four months before purchasing my mainland girl---NOW, if the weather would warm up already, I could get her!

This post should be accompanied by some pics, don't yall think?

Here are some pics from this morning

My husband pointed out something interesting, look at the second pic, she is sleeping next to cork bark so that her markings match the bark. Chewies ROCK!!

If I wasn't terrified they would be to hot at my house I would love get some of these awesome geckos. My house generally stays between 74-80, a little to close to the high end temps for them.
