    You could also put the human style heating pad on a thermostat so that then it will turn on and off at your predetermined temp range. Just aviod hot because it seriously does get hot. Low is normally the better setting.

    On all the time is the setting I used. Mine did not have a low high setting though but my temp gun said it was giving off heat in the 90-94 range. That worked very very well.

    I got one today it has low, med, and high, that i can set it at.
