    These didn't turn out great. Still trying to figure out the darn thing! Paytynn served as my practice model.



    And...well...this one is a stuffed iguana...

    I don't think those look too bad at all. The colors and everything look good, and the pictures are not overexposed. I think you might need just a tad bit more lighting, and some way to reflect a slight amount of light upwards. The eyes look dark in the first picture, so if you could get more light coming up from underneath, it would really make the face pop.

    Keep trying new things. It takes a lot of tinkering around to get lighting setups just right sometimes. Move things around and try different angles, and you'll find what works the best in your situation.

    Thanks! It came with two very bright lights. I just don't really know where I should put them. I do agree that the eyes are rather dark in the first picture. I will just have to keep tinkering!

    Yep. I think I had it on Manual-WB: Flourescent, Exposure: 0, Macro, No Flash.
