I'm thinking of getting one of those flourescent lights that people use for fish tanks, and using it on the plants. In the Uroplatus book it says that he uses flourescent instead of UBV.

I have never had any issues with humidity/shedding either, so I'm happy to say this set up is working great. I've found that they use ever inch of the cage.

The fimbriatus are larger than the henkeli. They are not a ton larger, but they do get larger. They pretty much have the same care requirements as far as I know.

Keeping and Breeding Leaf-tailed Geckos: The Genus 'Uroplatus' (2001)
by Sascha Svatek and Susanna van Duin

Solid book that is getting increasingly rare as it's out of print. If you want to keep Uroplatus, this is one book you should have in your reference collection.
