    Default New T's!

I ordered 3 new tarantula slings and they just arrived this morning safe and sound! Info and pics below

1.25+" Avicularia versicolor sling - this little guy started to molt during shipping, I was worried it would stress it too much but it has now molted and looks good!
At the beginning of the molt...

    Further...

    Finally out!

Next is a 1" Brachypelma vagans, little fella has already eaten an extra small dubia roach for me

and last but not least a 1" Pterinochilus murinus, also has already eaten an extra small dubia roach

    and their homes!

They are sooo cute!! I am nervous about them since they are my first slings... I hope I don't kill them!

That's so cool Do you just throw the molted skin (would you call it skin?) away or do you just leave it there?

I took mine out, but put it in the tiny vial I got the tarantula in I want to keep their first molts, so when they are full grown I will have proof of how tiny they were, haha. I still have the first shed skin of my ball python Randal and that was like 9-10 years ago!

haha, yep! Aww that's cool, I can't wait until mine changes. I need to come up with some names... My rosea has a name so I think these three deserve one too, lol.

lol mine are not that creative except for Pipsqueek, we call it Pip for short, but it got its name because it was smaller the a dime, and James wouldnt let me name it freckles...lol Otherwise my b.smithi is Hank and my a.metallica is Owen, now watch they both end up being girls! Have to change it to Hillary and Olivia!

hehe! Oh well, the spiders won't care! I named my Rosea Eddie, even though she's a girl. When I bought her that's the name that popped into my head so that stuck... here she is
