Question Ok, is this a pin or not? Expert help needed...lol.

Ok, in person, I'm inclined to see this as nearly a full pin...the thing is, it has almost no cream/white to it. It also has lateral striping like the others I've hatched from this pairing...just no white coloration except for it's tail. Matt? Sarah? Anyone? I think I'm going to hang on to it to see what it turns into, but it's puzzling just the same. Please realize I'm having trouble getting the pics to show what I'm talking about. This was the best one I could come up with:

    Thanks guys!!

I would say that yes it is a pin, altho it is not a very contrasting color. It looks very young so the colors can change and the contrast might become better. It could be the begining of a very brilliant pin project.

    Thanks for the input guys.

Yes, it's definately unique...lol. It's a sweetie too. I guess I was just hesitant to call it a pin b/c all the others I have possess such contrasts...who knows.

OH...btw...it is VERY young...it just hatched out last night. Pics of it's clutchmate are in the 'crested' forum...if you look at it you'll understand what I mean about the contrast.

I just hatched out on exactly like the one you have. The colour ill come in a few months. Hopefully in our case the pinstriping turns to cream.

    Andrea,

Yeah i think it's a type of pin minus the flame pattern. I hatched one out this season too, and I'm raising it up right now. It's sibling was a normal flame pin. I've seen a few other breeders produce this type of pin as well.
