It is, I only got him back in March. Only a couple of weeks. He was my first gecko. I've had two other reptiles before so I'm not complete beginer. I should have done what my aunt told me and got a beardie instead. I loved that little guy though. I feel horrible that I killed him.

Sorry to hear about the loss. I used to have an African Clawed frog and he was huge-and I knew he was gtting sick and I dd everything I could but on the way to the vet he died. I felt I let killed him by maybe not changing the water enough or something.Once again I am sorry

You didn't kill your gecko. Things happen that are beyond our control. Though I gotta ask. Were you feeding him only Clarks? Or were you adding supplements to it? Because Clarks is not a complete diet. For the next time, try mixing in a little Trex Gargoyle Gecko Diet, as that is a complete diet, and will give the gecko all it needs.

He wouldn't eat crickets, I tried feeding them to him. I had Trex crested diet that I added. I only had him a month, not enough time to give him MBD or lack of protein and calcium. I'm feeding my crested but he has yet to eat crickets either. I mix in some trex just to get rid of it as they wont eat it.I have repcal calcium and multivit if i should add either of those.

Than it sounds to me like you were doing everything right. And like I said, these things happen. Don't let it discourage you from owning another one.

Max Power, just curious but what kind of oil do you add to the Clarks?
