You are still seeing them at $6000? Hmm. I have seen some great ones at shows between $400-$800. There would be no way on earth Id pay $6000, ever.

I highly doubt you will find a healthy well started pied for $400.00, in fact if you do pm me and I will buy it off you for $450.00.

2009 Hatchlings/ juvies are ruinning in the range of $800 - $1200 this year. On a rare occasion you will find older animals, and combos and these will sell for much more but expect to spend about 1k for a 2009 hatch.

To bad I did not have that offer before the local show we just had.:th_woot: One lady had 7 of them all for $400 each.
The really interesting thing is, she did not sell one of them.
A show that normally had a turn out in around 7,000 for two days only had maybe 1,500-2,000 total. Guess even shows are not out of the reach of the economy.

Yeah I agree. I've never seen a pied for less than $1,000.00 to be honest.

the prices range soooo much depending on the % of white... obviously the more white the more $$$$ so for 400 they were probably a low % or as stated before... not well started and or healthy

$400.00 it was probably a het pied. Can't say I have seen a pied for less than $1200.00, at least from a reputable breeder.
