When I woke up this morning I saw that Piper had laid two eggs in her water dish! This has never happened before and Paige has never laid eggs! What should I do? Are the eggs duds because they're not fertilized? I am so freaking out!!!![]()

Yes, they are duds. Throw them away and give her a proper nesting box for her next clutch.

I don't have a male gecko...so if she lays again they will be duds? Should I give her a nesting box anyway? Should I give Paige one even though she's never laid eggs?
Having a lay box can help her feel more secure even if she needs to lay duds. I've had a girl lay duds in her water bowl too, despite having a lay box on hand, so she may not use the box, but it's peace of mind for you. I like to start putting a lay box in at around 20 grams "just in case" for females.
