    Default What tpye's fruit safe to feed crested gecko?

    One quick question about refresh fruit and what type are safe to feed to crested gecko's. I was think of feeding blackberries, and raspberries for I have them grow in my back yard ,and was wording if these be safe to feed them for I'll have to many eat.

    1.0 collard lizard's (Crotaphytus bicinctores)
    1.1 dog's
    lot's of fish

    Mine love licking watermelon. My Crestie Digger also loves Marionberry. But I'm very picky, I only feed organic fruits to them (and to me). It might be smart to strain the seeds out of berries like the raspberries/blackberries.

    Yes as Saille said it'd be a good idea to get the seeds out.

    I feed my geckos banana mush with calcium once every month or so. Make sure this isn't fed often, only used as a treat, and possibly mixed with calcium!

    Mine love blended mango and apricot. I work at a market and the produce girls put aside some of the especially "ripe" ones for me because they know I have geckos.

    I think the seeds in those berries would be too big for the geckos, try filtering them out or try some of the other fruits mentioned.

    Thanks to all of you, I have try some the other fruits mentioned and seem like the it mango the best I just thought the raspberries/blackberries by they free.
