Cool Some more pics of our babies! (DUW) :)

Most of these taken by my OH

This one has been photo shopped. I am not very good yet!

It looks like the hatchling in this one has a dirty eye, but they are water dropplets from when they where misted.

We took the chance to have a very brief handling session (a minute or so with each Gecko) and they are fantastic little babies.

    So fast and jumpy!

I think they are settling in OK though as they seem very energetic.

Good to see they are doing great. Just get them used to handling and use the hand walking technique, awesome cresties!

    Thanks both

Ive been up late every evening watching them )

At the moment they are all watching the floor of the exo for crickets. I feel almost bad because there are none in there tonight

lol as I typed that one of them took a jump off a bit of bambo into a milk bottle cap with water in about 3 inches below like some kind of high diver!

At least he didnt pick the GCD cap that would have been messy

    Thank you

Had them over a week now - its gone really fast.

When do you think I should start getting them used to handling? So far I have only really had a minute or two handling at most with them when I was cleaning them.

Another question too about crickets. I was told I shuold just put about a dozen in at night on Cricket day and let them eat them - I am just a little woried about the crickets being in all night and harming the geckos (I am a terrible worryer!).

Also I did this one night and 4 or 5 crickets hid under the paper towel all night and i took them out the next morning.

Are there any other methods I can try for feeding? I was thinking about trying to take the gecks out one by one and trying to feed in a box on their own then returning them to the enclosure.

Any tips from pro keepers very apreceated!

i've read most people on here take their geckos out and feed crickets seperate in a new enclosure - but i have never done it myself..all of my geckos have been fine with crickets over night - i've never seen them being pestered or bothered by it; i think they actually like "cricket day" and it gives me the rest of the week to fatten them up on cgd!

only put in about 4-6 crickets per gecko, about the length of the distance between the gecko's eyes. use a tall narrow container such as a deli cup or glass where it can't get knocked over. the crickets won't be able to get out and the geckos can climb in and out to eat as they please.
