    Default Cricket dusting with CGD

    Would dusting my crickets with CGD help to switch my gecko over to eating the strait CGD liquid mix :?:

    yes it would thats one of the best ways to transition them.

    you can just use a cold turkey method. just give them ONLY cgd and once they ge thungry enough, they will eat it. my hatchlings were started on it so they live on it. no healthy animal in teh wild would ever starve it self when in the wild..

    Yes. However, you can try Clark's new diet... I've found that the geckos LOVE it and you don't need to starve them to get them to eat it. Hey, I even tried a little myself... and it isn't bad. :lol:

    i don't understand y everyone wants get their crested off of crix ? its in their nature to hunt. if u dont provide them some excercize they will grow lazy. i just dont think its a good idea. but this is just my opinion. to me its like forcing someone into being a vegitarian. and if it dont got parents i dont want it.

    It is not that i don't like feeding crix, i am just having trouble getting my crestie to eat CGD at all.

    see i wouldnt want to get my crestie off crickets totally, id feed it a mixture of crickets one day and cgd the next but id wanna make sure it ate the cgd to make sure it got all its vitamins but feed it crickets to make sure he still has some fun!

    I am interested in reading some more about Clarks deit could someone send me a website address or phone number?

    But yes dusting your crixs would help switch them over. But I still feed roaches 2 times a week.
