I have the one by Hamper and for the price its hard to beat and covers basically everything there is to know about cresteds.

I do plan on buying the Rhac. book sometime soon just because everybody says it is so good.

It really is. I've read it numerous times. (And the photos are great... especially the "jumping" pics... WOW!)

    Sanskrit,
After looking at the pictures and browsing through it I'd say it's worth the
few dollars you'll be spending on it. It's not as thick or thorough as the
Hamper book but it's got some neat stuff in it. I say to go for it.
I mean you're getting both for less than the usual price of the Rhac book.

It is definately worth it. I have read it over 46 times,(yeah i counted) it has everything. And even though you can research on the net i still think people should get the books for 3 reasons.

1.(And most important) i leave the book with whoever i leave my crestie. Like when i go on a trip and have to leave my crestie with a friend or reletive the book it there too.
2.If your computer catches and extreme virus(mine was out of commision for two weeks) and are unable to get to the internet to post questions on the forums, the book is still right by your side.
    3.The pics are really good.

Also the book by Robbie Hamper is good, but the Rhacodactylus book is much better by far, and is worth ever penny.

    4. You can read a book in the bathtub but it's not very safe to surf the internet while bathing.

Thanks Donn!! I figured I'd just go for it even if it doesn't stand up to the Rhac Book. I mean for the price they offer it for why not?
