    Default Giving up...

I'm giving up for the moment on the whole finding a female thing. I got to thinking that between working full time and all the other reptiles i wont have time to tend to eggs and keeping females wieghts up it was too much the first time i did it i have no idea why i want to do it again and i have more interesting things im interested in breeding such as my green tree monitor. I'm content with haveing 5 or 6 pretty boys and just being done maybe i'll find a female in the future that i'll like to breed but as of now i'ma raise all my juvies up and sell off the females maybe even ugly males geez its a sausage fest in my house.

Honestly it's much better to buy a lot of nice geckos as unsexed, and raise them up to adulthood yourself. It's cheaper, then pick the ones you want, and sell the rest.

Just think ...you could have a house full of fat, sassy females ...and not one single male to breed them with

What are their weights? I personally sex mine accurately with a loupe down to 5 grams or so.
