    Default "Spanky-rific"... the Ball Python

Alright, let me start off by saying that I did NOT name this snake! LMBO!

Spanky was purchased from a local pet store where the conditions were none-too-great, the Dept of Ag. was called, and the owners were chewed out MASSIVELY and a fine may be issued. (Also got a female crestie named "Karma".) Normally I have a strict no "pity purchase" policy (more animals would just take the place of the neglected ones that were purchased), but there were different circumstances involved.

The name? Alright, the hubby hates snakes and was none-too-happy when he heard I'd acquired another one... even when I said I was just going to fix him up and give him to a good home. He started chewing me out and saying that I'd get too attached to this snake, name it some crazy name like "Spanky-rific", and it would stay with us. Well, I'm a sucker and I did get attached. The goofy name stuck... and the husband, suprisingly enough... loves him. Lol!

    A little nervous:

LMBO!!! I'm going to try to pace myself with the bp's. Normally, I'm not a really big bp fan, but the pieds make me stop in my tracks. (Spanky was just too loveable not to keep.) After my het for pieds, I'm done, really... no really. Aww okay, maybe a pair of clowns or something but that's it... really... at least I hope. He he he.

Very cute BP! I love the way they look! Do you have some pictures of the female crested you got? (if you posted them already I might have missed them)
