    "Asesino de la rana" is a much better fit..

    Twinky, my ADF, had a very close call with her last night... and Fred is definitely moving into her 20g L ...today!! Her stay in the 30g planted was temporary anyway


    She looks so innocent.. no?

    She really does remind me of a little ballerina princess ..with the coloration and the gills ..and her "grace" ..LOL

    What a pretty axolotl, i really wanted one, but then i got two cresties!lol

    very cute. do these guys always morph into tiger salamanders? ive read that they do, but ive also read that they will/can stay this way their whole life.. is that true?

    These are two different species. The larva or whatever you call the babies look almost identicle, but the salamanders will lose their gills come out of the water and become salamanders. These do not. The just grow larger and larger staying the same, never losing their gills. These are called Axolotls, also known as things like water dog, water demin, and mexican water salamander or thing like that.
