    Default Cricket wrangler

I fed my three month old brindle juvie crickets for the first time and it did something crazy. It ate one cricket just fine. Then, it leapt on the other one and curled up. The gecko kind of twiched a little and I could see the antennae of the cricket sticking out from under the gecko's arm. What the heck?!?

So I scooped up the gecko and it released the cricket, which hopped away. The gecko was actually gripping the cricket with its arms and had it in a tight hold. I wish I'd gotten a picture! Has anyone else seen this behavior before?

Maybe he was saving it for later? Maybe he loves crickets and he was juts trying to show it without eating them? lol

That's strange. I would've found it "cute" in a strange kind of way. Lmao. Yeah, maybe he was saving it for later or wanted a new little friend that he could eat if it made him angry.

Haha. I think I like Marigold's suspicion the most.

    That's Funny,
One of my Gecko's tends to very literally kick repeatedly (with her back foot) crickets when they're in her mouth if the don't stop squirming.
