ok so i just got this garg on sep 7th at the white plains expo. i had a friend of mine who's had them look at him to see if he was ok before i buy him, he said it looked fine so i bought him took him home and put him in his new home... he seems to always be in the same spot and apears to never move. when i took him out to feed him cgd he ate some so i put him back and he just stayed where i put him and when i woke up he was in his usual spot could there be anything wrong with him or is this how gargs usually act???

I have three gargs and all three of them have a favorite spot in which they sit almost 90% of the time I see them. Also, my youngest, which I purchased and had shipped to me, was very unwilling to eat for about 2 weeks, but has finally settled down into a regular pattern of eating. Nothing sounds too out of the ordinary, imo, but you might keep watch to make sure that it starts to eat eventually.

    Beautiful garg by the way.

If you're concerned about the eating habits, it may be best to try hand feeding after about a week or so in order to ensure that he's ingesting some kind of nutrients. It will also help to get him used to you as well. I've used that method with both my garg and my leachie, and the garg still has a bit of an attitude problem while the leachie seems to enjoy being handled to an extent.
Also, on a similar note to ShadowKorin, my garg also sits in the same spot at the top of his/her cork bark for about 80% of the time.
