Talking Leachie or Garg that is the question

well, today is my birthday and for a gift to myself i was thinking about getting either a leachianus Nuu Ana or a Striped Auriculatus I have done all the research so i know what i need for housing, feeding but i just cant make up my mind over one or the other. I currently also own two 3 month old cresties that are great younglings and are thriving. can i please get some input from owners that own both leachies and gargs. what are there pros and cons do you prefer one over the other ? thanks

    I don't own either...

But I would say it depends on what YOU want.
Leachies get LARGE. Many buy them for the size.
    Gargs aren't as big.

But I'm chahoua lover... so don't mine me.
You'll get more responses on the leachie vs. gargs when everyone gets home from the Daytona show.

we have several gargs but our leachie is just a baby...personally, i find leachies rather dull and lumpy looking...they can also be somewhat human-aggressive when older, and a bite from that large mouth can do some damage! you sure you don't want a chewie?

oh, and welcome, fellow californian! i love san diego - i was born in la jolla - it rocks!

Im in San Diego too, Im getting a chahoua, from what Ive heard and researched they have more personality than leachies. I cant wait for my chewie. Gargs are pretty cool though they have beutiful patterns. Im in san Diego too where are you getting your new gecko from?

I'm not a huge garg fan, I say chahoua or leachianus, but I'm not going to say which since I don't have any leachies (yet).
