    Default YAY FIRST CHAHOUA

I'm so happy it's like Christmas!!! (well except he wasn't given to me) I have wanted one of these guys for years! I can't beleive how big he is for one month (he is bigger than skittle the 12 week crested). I got him from Pet'acular along with some very interesting dry diet, has anyone else used this? Heres a couple pics.

Ohhhh that little Brownie is cute! S/he looks like a Brownie to me!

Super cute, and you are going to love the personality they have! Just make sure you hold it often so that as it grows up it remains docile and sweet!

    Congrats on your first Chewie!!

Thanks. I was amazed already by it's docility. I figured it would bolt out of the delicup when I opened it like a crested. Instead it just calmly walked up onto my hand. I normally don't handle them for at least a week but he/she was just so cute, docile and soft that I couldn't resist.

Hehe.... yeah, you can't resist holding them, that's for sure!

Just watch out... they are very addicting... but at least expensive and harder to obtain, so you can't go overboard with the addiction!

I'm glad that your chewie arrived safely!

Thanks, I plan on at least getting one more this year. Do your 6 adults talk much?

    Yes they do talk!!

The sort of squeak! It's really cute!! Then at night I hear them talking to each other.
My most vocal couple I have are the the two who are IN LOVE!! (Sarge & Sugar).
Those two don't leave the others side! If you take out one to play with, you have to take them both out... or they get VERY vocal like they are upset.

It's really cute when Chahouas talk/ Squeak!

I can't wait till I have a pair of them. But now comes the wait because I bought mine as a baby. :-(

    True!

You might want to wait until you can determine the sex of the baby, so that you can buy a mate for it.
