I've been asking around about chahouas and leachianus and I've been told by many rhac breeders that chahoua are their favorite rhacs, where saras tend to be a vivarium type gecko/more hands off. I was told that chahouas are friendly and very personal. Good luck!

    Default Chahoua vs. Sarasinorum

I have both Chahouas and Sarasinorums. I would have to say by far the Chahoua is the coolest gecko out. They have beautiful shades of reds and greens in there moss-like pattern. There personality is very relaxed. They are the easiest to handle of all the rhacs. The males have the most patience. If a friend came over I would pull out a male Chahoua and they would instantly fall in love with it. I have 16 Chahouas in my collection and wish I had more. I only have 6 Saras. They are beautiful and very unique in there own way. They have more natural colors (shades of brown). Saras are flighty(jumpers) and NOT easy to handle. It is almost hard to believe that thay are a Rhacy too. Here are some pictures of a female Chahoua

    and a female
    Sarasinorum. Enjoy........

beautiful pictures! I have found a proven pair I am considering. I really want the chahouas. Do you breed yours? How hard are they to breed? Is it hard to remove the eggs with the females guarding them?

    Thanks

The chahoua is definitely a more docile animal, the sarasinorum is definitely cool behavior wise as well, however its definitely more suited to a naturalistic hands off set up, kind of just depends on what youd prefer.
