    Default Quick question

    Hey everyone,

I'm new to the Crested game and just got my first one today!
I was wondering how long until I should start handleing him/her?
I'll post pics later when I get the camera to work

Give it a couple days to let them settle down and acclimate to their new surroundings. It will be a lot easier and less stressful for them once they become comfortable. Then, only handle for 5 or 10 minutes at a time or until the gecko becomes too restless, whichever comes first.

    Just a warning they jump.

So when handling, and you have them on your hand, have the other hand there in front of them and just kind of let them walk/hop from hand to hand. Other wise they will end up on some unexpected surface where they could get or get hurt.

When I first got The Spook he was so spazzy, I only handled him on the bed. That way when he went kamikaze, he didn't hurt himself.
