    Default newb question:)

I was just wondering...how fast do cresteds grow? I have had mine for oh i'd say a month now and im not really noticing it getting any bigger...i know its eating b/c im finding nice little presents and i can see little indents in its food...just curious. I also have a bearded and it grows like a weed so i was just wondering. Also, I feed it cgd everynight and about twice a week a few crickets dusted with calcium...is that sufficient? I've read diff. opinions so i wasnt sure. thanks in advance

yea sounds good....sometimes it doesnt seem like their growing because you see him everyday and you wouldnt really notice....try measuring and weighing your gecko once a month to see progress in growth...

Very true. Mine was 3 1/2 inches when I first got him, and I took pics next to a dime to give a sense of scale.
He's now 4 1/2 inches. I've had him for about 3 months, (got him early Sept.) so its slow growing at first. I am definitely seeing growth now though! Especially when I think of how teeny he was. . .

Yup - chances are he's growing. You just see him every day and it's a slow growth (NOTHING like a beardie! hehe) so it's not noticeable yet. Take a picture of him near something, a ruler as suggested, or a quarter, then take a new one next month. Compare.

Might have better luck to feed every other night as well, instead of every night. I the wild they don't eat every night, and when they find food they are binge eaters.
