Just a quick note to let everyone know I'm back and haven't fallen off the edge of the earth. I had surgery but am recovering now and am hoping to spend some extra time online posting!

Well, it certainly SUCKED. Bleh. Even the meds suck, I'm on Vicadin right now which I hate.

I have chronic endometriosis and this was my 3rd surgery. I'm only 32 but have tons of problems. They had to go in and cut some ligaments and cauterize nerves to my back as I was in extreme back pain. If I'm lucky (not!) I will be forced into a second round of menapause. I've already gone through a 6 month round at the age of 29.

Thanks for wishing me a speedy recovery though, I'm anxious to get back to normal!

My mother had to get her uteris removed from that. Sorry to hear you're experiencing the same.

Ewww, Vicodin sucks. I've actually never been on it, but I know lots of people who have, because the Army hands out hard drugs like candy. The strongest thing I've been on is a muscle relaxer. I slept 8 hours after I took it, no metter what. Problem with that was that I asked the doctor for something I could take at work! Hope you get off the heavy meds soon. And endometriosis can be a real bear of a chronic condition.

I had a jaw surgery a little ways back and they gave me an anti-swelling drug that gave me hot and cold flashes like every 15minutes. It SUCKED! Then they sent me home with codene...bah...threw it out and managed the pain the old fashion, sucked it up (not making a stab at anyone).

That's what they wanted to do this time, but I'm not ready. It will probably be something I have to do next surgery.

But you know what's stupid? My insurance covers most of the Vicodin, so I only pay $5 for it...but I have to pay $45 a month for BIRTH CONTROL!

I certainly can't take Vicodin while working, so am off work for 2 weeks, YEA!!!
