Default "Excuse me, waiter? There's a tooth in my finger."

OK, so, last week I took a bite on the thumb from a sub adult columbian boa. Obviously, it's hurt since. However, a few days ago I realized there was something still IN MY FINGER. Three days of pain and pushing later, out popped a 7/16" tooth. It slid in right along the nail, so when I was cleaning the wounds, I didn't realize there might be one there (I had pulled 3 others out of my thumb right after the bite).

Yet, for some reason, I still jump when a crested bites me.

That had to be incredibly painful! I've gotten splinters under nails and it hurts like rip. I have a pretty good pain tolerance too but dang...

Update: Another tooth about the same size just came out of the joint in my thumb, and this bite was the last bite I took on this hand. Wow, over two YEARS later....

Wow... I can't believe you've had a tooth in your thumb for over two years. Did you have pain the whole time?

It was feeding time for my two red tails and one was in the bath while I was holding the other by the neck right under the head as you should (they're 5 and 7ft) and my friend was helping me feed. The 5 footer was in the tub eating first while I held the seven foot, preparing to put her in the tub in the next room but my friend needed help with the 5 footer real quick. Of course the 7 footer could smell the rat the 5fter had and my friend reached in to grab the rat since the 5fter had no interest in it and he brushed up against the one I was holding (7ft). Of course, thinking he was the rat she got a good chomp out of his arm and what I heard next was the sound of ripping jeans
He ripped out 3 of her teeth. He was scared of them after that though hah!
