    That's great that you are able to give her a nice home to relax in after all she's been through. My kids have asked for a snake, to add to our collection of Beardies and Geckos, but I have no clue where to start. Any suggestions for a good beginner snake?

    Corn snakes are one of the best beginner snakes.

    I would say a ball python... Corn snakes and slender long snakes like that move alot and are difficult to hold. Ball pythons stay fairly small and barely move when held, and when they do they are slow.
