    Its also got to do with how far their pupils are dialated. I believe they can control them somewhat when they are awake

    Thanks Olivia and Jack for the pointers! I never noticed that the eyelids were pointing down when they are sleeping. I'm curious to see if I can tell the difference when I get home
    Crested geckos: 3.2.7 and 10 eggs still incubating (Adults: Cinamon - female, red with white fringe; Vanilla - female, yellow tiger with dalmation spots; Lemon - female yellow-cream brindle; Pepperoni - male, red and tailless; Banana- male yellow creamsicle)

    Went in to check on them and thought this was cute. I do not understand how they can be so comfortable. Also I have attached a non gecko but unusual sleeping position (animal was at the reptile show).

    I hope I do not offend anyone by putting this on here. When I commented to the man at the booth about how uncomfortable this lizard looked, he looked at me like I was crazy. Anyway, his neck cannot be comfortable.

    I woke up to find Dagoji sleeping half-buried with her butt in the air:



    She layed a clutch the next day.
