So for us non-latin-speaking folks who love spiders as long as they are not roaming free within several feet of my personal space.... what is the common name? Is it a wolf?

Trusty ol' wikipedia says Dolomedes is the Fishing Spider and Dock spider genus, so it seems some earlier guesses were correct.

HAHA! Hey this was in my friends' bathroom! If it were mine I would be going to the bathroom outside or someone elses house from now on. I may have roaches, crickets, worms, snakes, and lizards but one thing I dont and never will have are arachnids! AHhhhhh...just the thought!
